Polyamide Stretch is durable, yet highly versatile fabric. In the water Polyamide Stretch will withstand the action of heavily chlorinated pools, salt water and ultra violet radiation from the sun. Polyamide has proven to be a constantly presentable fabric even after constant washing.
Polyamide Stretch in its brushed form has qualities suited for all different environments. It's light brushing will help trap in body heat, while the structure of the fibre will allow perspiration to pass thrpugh the fabric. Thus making it ideal for swim suits for all ages, keeping infants through to adults relatively warm in the colder months and cool in the hotter ones.
The fabric has been extensively tested by many Australian Laboratories and is classified as having a maximum protection rate. This maximum protection rate corresponds with the amount of UPF rating that the material provides and the Polyamide rate is 50+.
